Where are the event collectibles!?!?
I've been noticing with the last events that you can't get the event collectibles to trade in for the event player items by completing objectives.
We're given tokens... event tokens to upgrade event player items that we don't have, but they're who we need to complete other, harder event objectives.
For Supernatural, I was able to collect a few, but I didn't see the point in trying too hard to get a second player item because I would only get enough tokens to upgrade the one guy maybe 3 levels, then the event would be over and that would be it for my chance to upgrade them. The other player would be useless because the majority of my team is rated 83, and he'd be stuck at 80.
Fantasy Hockey didn't seem to offer enough collectibles to get an event player item, maybe if you could score a ridiculous number of goals quick enough, but the latest Off The Charts event, from what I can see, you're only able to get 2 collectibles from objectives, none from Wildcard or HUT Moments, but you need 4 collectibles to get the event player items.
I can't even do the [any mode] event objectives by playing Wildcard. I wasn't given one current event player item to draft to my lineup! But I could choose from at least 4 Supernatural player items!?! 😵🤯🤬
Why isn't this the other way around?!?! Give us the collectibles so we can acquire the event player items, then we can give a about the tokens to upgrade them.
I'm not going to spend money to get collectibles for a player item of a limited time event. There would be a higher chance that I would spend money to upgrade a player item that I liked, especially if I could still get the tokens to upgrade them after the event ended.
The model for these events is asinine.
