After playing the HUT mode for three years now, this new format is no where good enough for a player base that is used to grinding for great rewards at the end of every week according to skill, now we are stuck with RUSH 2.0.
Yup. They have completely ruined the game mode this year. Very unfortunate. Feels like there is nothing at all to do.
I'm hoping they'll implement some change soon. Everyone grinding for 55 days through bronze and silver cards just doesn't cut it, even for Eichel, which I don't even like, why not have a choice of three players instead of one?
I haven't logged in to HUT for 3 days and I know I haven't missed a thing.
They finally made the gameplay actually better, goalies are better, skating feels a lot better, etc, etc but then they messed up the rewards. I think the XP path is a good idea because it takes pressure out of performing well, literally anyone can get max tier rewards if they just play normally. But to make the rewards this bad is baffling, you can't build anything with these rewards. I think they just need to make the rewards better and we will be fine. The XP system is the way to go, the rewards just need to be better, more NHL players available in the packs, etc. The Wyatt Johnston set for example, that's how you do it, quick and easy way to get a nice 84 ovr player into your team, literally no skill required to get him.
Blinkimic FC25 has had ultimate team seasons for 3 years now and you have to have Weekly rivals and squad battles rewards still. They tried it like this at the Beginning and it was a giant failure.
They also set up 3 choices of players at 3 different tiers of the seasons. Adds more variety because not everyone wants or needs Eichel. Some may need a defenseman or goalie.
Final tier prizes on FC 25 would be equivalent to an ultimate choice pack. The rest would be equivalent to NHL players packs to elite packs thought the season.
I want my money back. ea ruined the whole game
