True there are some good low level players but that’s because they’re “league players” that don’t play clubs or drops often. I don’t know that though so I use RP as the main indicator which the majority of others do as well. I’m still not taking a chance with a low level players as it’s too much of a risk to my RP. This is especially the case because getting to certain RP ranks is my priority!
You telling me if your club is one win from a division title/championship or whatever you’re going to let say a level 1-10 or anyone less than a P1 play as a D or G for you? You’re flat out lying if you say you would. In fact your and your team wouldn’t even hesitate asking them to leave.
I remember one year I started as a Xmas newbie and got denied games because of it. I didn’t have a problem with it though because I knew the reason why and it was my fault! If I did that now it wouldn’t matter as much because a lot of the community knows my gamertag and would know I’m just joining the game late.
I also back out when I have an Enforcer as my D partner. 9 times out of 10 they’re going to suck, miss attempts at hits taking them out of the play and take stupid penalties. Then I have to solely concentrate on covering for them which neutralizes my offence skills. This also affects my forwards because I can’t help them out offensively as much as I know I can when I do have a proper D partner.
When someone has been playing this game as long as I have I can recognize the good players from the bad. RP and rank is a good indication the majority of the time.
