Why does a Be A Pro have to be the highest point player to be a centre man. Back in the old days before 2021 you played (1-2) years in the CHL and stayed a centre man thought out your career. Now play at most 8 games as a junior as a centre man then get drafted. But no matter what you play a winger until you are the highest point player! Why?Fix Form Score
So, I’m trying to find nice and easy, low effort ways for you guys to fix the currently unplayable Be a Pro. And I think it boils down to the form score system. To get a good form score, you NEED to score goals. And to maintain the form score, you need to score goals literally every game. I’ve had streaks of 4 straight games of a 100 form score, then I have one game where I don’t score, and it drops below 70. Let’s just make this very clear. Not everyone wants to play a career mode where they score every single game and are the Jesus Christ of hockey. Some of us want a realistic career simulation where we score every now and again and slowly work our way up the lineup. BUT, to even be on the 4th line, you need A GOAL A GAME. The way you have Be a Pro designed, the players HAS to be the best player in the league every game or you get demoted. Fix. Your. Game. I refuse to wait until NHL 31 when you decide you fix a broken game mode and slap it on the cover as a new feature.WOC Bugs— it’s been 5 years.
It’s been about 5 years and the same bugs are still in WOC. I don’t know what else to tell you. The team is aware by now and I’ve been posting it for 4 years+, but I’m saying it again: 1) WOC presets still reset— gear, celebration, hat trick, etc. Home seems to stay the same, but away & alt reset every so often on their own. 2) WOC loadouts still lock up sometimes when selecting them, then you must switch locker rooms and come back to fix it. I can’t even count how many times I’ve reported this over the last 4-5 years. love playing, but these little things are crazy y’all. They’ve been in the game for years.lost connection
Hi everyone, for the last 3 days I keep losing connection while I am in NHL 26 Hut Moments, but if I play in the offline mode i don't lose connection, has anyone been experiencing the same thing ? when it happens I get a pop up that says to check with EA Sports. Everytime it happens i have to quit the game , i check my internet connection and nothing is wrong, all connections on my PS5 are good . is EA Sports having connection issues with NHL 26 ?Defenceman gameplay is garbage.
Ive already made a post about numerous flaws and glitches in the defencive mechanics and gameplay. Heres another one. Can someone explain to me why when a foward uses LT its disney on ice, but when i use it on defence its as if i had forgot how to skate? Impossible to follow a moving foward in the slot using LT... its unrealisticly slow and just unusable when thats how you should be skating most of the time.. instead you just skate without it back against the player and just hope for the best. Wich nhl defenceman is so much slower and unagile while backskating??? Its just not funFranchise mode play by play names are ridiculous.
The franchise mode play by play names are absolutely ridiculous. so many of them are unrealistic, like no one’s play by play name is going to be “believe the hype” that’s just ridiculous. in addition to that, there’s some cool logos like this one of a crab, and there’s no play by play name called crabs. it’s stupid please fix it it’s impossible to create cool teams with itNHL 27 Realistic Must Have's:
I am putting down simple realistic add on's for NHL 27 that do not require any new licensing with external corporations . - Be a pro: Be a pro has vastly improved I will give EA that, however I believe that small tweaks like more interaction with your pro off the ice like an option to have team practices and on ice drills that can benefit your players attributes and build chemistry would be beneficial to everyone. Secondly, add in the all star game, 4 nations, olympics (without formally calling it the olympics) Lastly, please make it more rewarding to be good defensively and to add to performance score without having to score goals or put up points - Franchise Mode: Please please please bring in LTIR, retiring jersey numbers, team practices, more interaction off ice, and interviews as the GM to clarify the direction of the team. THE MAIN THING IN THIS ENTIRE FORUM IS THIS, PLEASE BRING IN LIVE SEASON STARTING DATES, if the NHL season is on say January 24th then I want the option to start January 24th with the current record of that team and updated overalls and rosters to that point. IT IS INCREDIBLY BORING TO HAVE TO START IN SEPTEMBER WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER. IN FACT IT IS INFURIATING! Although nhl 25 and 26 are good games, they arent necessarily at great level yet. these are some additions i would add to lean towards greatness again Gameplay: -Bring back + add presentation(Team entrance, consistent national anthem, goalie warmups,commentators recap during intermission not just seeing replays. maybe have a panel like we see on tv) - In game highlights recap (during wihistles, add realistic presentation) - More realistic collision, hits, physics -Graphix improvement, more shadow, better cloth movement, make players look more realistic than they are. Some players really do not look like themsleves. -More realistic skating and movement (though this has been a step up already) -Better fighting engine, it is literally more than 10 years old now. -Score board should add series tracker (when playing playoffs in any mode) Customization: - I asked this in the last few NHLs, but being able to change glove colors in any mode as well as stick color. NHL 2k had this, and it just added to the element of customization. - more stick tape options ( being able to actualy customize how long we want the stick shaft tape lenght to be and how much tape we want on the blade ) not just preset options. (Zibanejad for example has super long stick shaft tape and we cant replicate this anymore like we used to in 2k) - Custom goalie masks or at least able to change colors of the designs - create a team: cutomize logo for more freely (size, add layers, sponsors etc..) able to customize jersey entirely additional to the preset jerseys we can choose. Franchise: - Able to sign PTO's - more flexibility to trade for NMC players. (have a conversation with GM and player to see if there is a fit) rather than just not able to offer a trade for the player. -Activity feed to be more interactive -draft day floor with team, players being called up to stand for round 1 and then simpler draft style for round 2 to 7. -Being able to edit the draft class -Players with generic faces should be able to change the faces to what we want to match the realism of how they look, this should not be locked unless it is a face scan player. -ERA's mode (nba 2k has this) it would be more expansive when using legend players and teams -CBA to vote on changes in the league (NBA 2k has this) -Being able to edit generic coaches/assistants. able to also create your own GM avatar. - Bring back style similar to dynasty mode from nhl 2004. - Awards being more interactive and not just a list of who won - Stanley cup banners raised cut scene either when cup is won or first home game of the next seasonMissing locations in location list.

But still, many cities around the world are missing from the location list.understand that EA Sports can't add every city in the world to the game, but it would be nice if EA Sports could add these cities to the location list in future updates. Öskemen, Kazakhstan Öskemen, which is also known as Ust-Kamenogorsk is city in Kazakhstan. You could say that Öskemen is the heart of Kazakhstani hockey. Five Kazakhstani players have played in the NHL, all of whom were born in Öskemen. In addition to them, two Russian goaltenders, Yevgeny Nabokov and Anton Khudobin, and German goaltender Dimitri Patzold were born in Öskemen. Would be nice see Öskemen and capital city of Kazakhstan Astana in the location list. Gävle, Karlstad, Örnsköldsvik and Ängelholm, Sweden These four swedish city is missing from location list. If you are using the Swedish version of NHL 26, you will find Gävle, Karlstad, and Örsköldsvik in the location list. In the other language versions these cities has been replaced by name Brynäs, Färjestads and Modo. Ängelholm is the hometown of Rögle BK. Rögle BK has been playing in the SHL since the 2015-16 season, but Ängelholm is still not on the location list. For example all Liiga teams hometowns will be found from there. For example we have there all DEL teams hometown and in addition few other cities from Germany. Hradec Králové, Czechia Why Hradec Králové isn't found in the location list ? All other Czech Extraliga teams hometown will be found in the location list, but Hradec Králové isn't be there. Also location list inclued other cities from Czechia.X Factor PNGs
I make NHL 26 videos on youtube. Is there anyway to get high quality pngs of all variants of every x factor? I have the specialist tier abilities from the NHL 26 website. But the All Star and Elite tier abilities I have to screenshot from the game and end up being low quality when I zoom them in. An issue from NHL 23 that was fixed originally has returned. How do I defend against this? Sadly this was my first player game in forever since I don't play much WOC due to certain aspects. Prior I played goalie and we were winning lots of our games despite pressure system allowing me to let in weak cheesy 5-hole goals. After discussing with a community manager my heat of the moment outlashes don’t do anything productive which is fair. So, I do want to give some constructive criticism in a better manner about online gameplay. Regarding L2 spamming, it just seems to be too effective and I’d understand if it looked more realistic. L2 side stepping across the blue line is perfect, we see guys like Hughes and Makar do that all the time. It’s the L2 going forward that is the issue. There is no way to defend it as poke checking creates a penalty, and a hit attempt doesn’t work in that case. The old puck protection with one hand in that case was better and also better looking visually in its relation to actual hockey. Stick lifting is far too ineffective, it is near impossible to retain the puck after a perfect stick lift in any situation. However a further issue is that it works for hooking penalties so if it can create a penalty it should at least also work to take the puck away when done right. Not just one or the other. Pass interceptions on cross creases. If a player has a high defensive rating they should be able to stop a good amount of cross crease passes if they are facing the right way. It does seem that right now unless you go fully on the ice the puck goes through the defenders stick too often. Going off the first point a bit, if an opposing player is coming down the ice at full speed, they shouldn’t be able to go through 3 to 4 defenders without even making a move. Sometimes it seems no amount of perfectly timed poke checks, stick lifts or checks can stop a player. It happens more often than it should. I just love hockey and NHL games have been fun in the past but it does seem like the quality of gameplay has gone down quite a bit due to the focus on presentation. I still look forward to future NHL games but I hope these issues are addressed in some way.HUT Feedback.
As I play HUT more often than not I have been FTP ( minus the Duchene EVO Card ) compared to previous years due to many aspects. Recently played CUP chase on Superstar mode winning the finals and I get in packs a 87 as my highest? Waste of time to play 22 games total for nothing... Events: Some have been good, but the players are very repetitive and feels AI generated. Also for certain events the time given isn't enough to build these with collectibles. Fantasy event was an example and I lost out on Josh Anderson because event wasn't long enough. I feel like this one should be during all Stanley Cup Playoffs. Now the 99x for a FTP player it just doesn't work. Having to submit a 97 overall for 1 collectible is a joke. Next is the prices starting with the 99x 667, 500 coins is insane! I could see 350,00 not that 8, 900 points is robbery! That is over $70 CDN. I can buy 4 meals from my local pub for that price or a game. And this doesn't give you a 100% chance at getting the event players so why waste money? Even the points packs are ridiculously expensive! No way I'm paying $200 CDN (taxes not included) for 20,000 points. Even to fill my truck is cheaper than that. It's sad to see how many consumers spend on this mode and don't think of consequences. Rewards: Yes they have been better but the account bnd/xp cards are useless and are taking space in collection. Let us trade those in for packs or something. I also would like to see weekly rewards again for our levels which would make this mode enjoyable. Salary Cap: I don't mind it but base salary for current season is way too low and half my good players are sitting. As salaries increase the base should be higher instead of increased by a smidge. Also if players play together IRL it should increase salary, abilities and chemistry. This would give more incentive into making teams people want. Not everyone went P2P spending tons on TOTY or Fantasy events. So much more could be done and I'm just unsure if our community feedback is being heard because why this direction? Who asked for this? From what I heard from Thrash and Henreek nobody suggested this.This is not fun
I am amazed every time I load up this game how bad it is I play 99% online versus AI was marketed as much improved. It’s not, it’s as bad as its ever been. Cut scenes are out of control, slowing the game down significantly. You cant even pick strategies as its endlessly interrupted If an offensive player has a step on a defender, no matter the speed of the player with the puck the defender slows down to a crawl. 84 speed will blow past a 91 defender. Clearly the defenders are programmed to slow down. Is this suppose to be fun? The Ice-Q . What is the point of this? It serves zero purpose and slows down the game. It looks like it was just thrown in to put something cheap and new in the game that ads zero value. Same glitch goals and exploits scoring like it’s 1992 again The hitting is awful. You can lay guys out 2 seconds after they pass the puck and its impossible to get a penalty except if you pokecheck someone from behind this game is seriously unfun. I just joined a new club, we’ve played about 80 games so far, less as some froze or kicked us out and gave us a loss. Most of the time the guys in our lobby, a full team of 6, are all between 16,000 RP- 19,000 RP with the occasional over 20,000 RP. Most of us have not prestiged yet and are under level 50 but some are P1 or P2. It seems we constantly get matched up with teams consisting of 6 players who are all much better than us according to their RP. The skill level gap in game is noticeable and we have no chance of competing with them. They take the puck right off of us, and we can barely stop them. One game tonight we had 5 shots on net during the whole game. At the end of the game it shows all of their RP. I will try to attach some examples. Usually all the opponents are between 22,000-25,000 while we are 16,000-19,000. Tonight we had two games where their guys were 27,000-31,000. I want to know how EA thinks this is fair. It’s not fun for us who can’t even compete. We can’t have fun playing the game with that kind of mismatch on a consistent basis. And before you say “oh well just get better at the game” 1. How can we get better if we consistently play against teams way better than us, and 2. Tonight we also played a team with similar RPs to ours and it was a fun competitive match where we won 3-2 in OT. That’s what I want. It’s hard to tell in the lobby when it matches us who is good and not good at this point since the game has been out for months, most players who have been playing for awhile are P1+. There is no player rank or RP shown on the lobby page so we can’t know until we are in game. I sent EA Help a message and the chat guy just sent me here to make a complaint. They said nothing can be done about it since it’s all automated. Yeah, well the automation SHOULD see my teams RP, record, career points +/- etc and match us with another team with similar RP, record, career points, etc. and I don’t want to hear there aren’t any, because I go to the player rank and see hundreds of guys at the same rank and RP. I don’t care about the region, just give us a team that we can keep up with so it’s fun for both teams. It’s so frustrating when it’s game after game, night after night. The club members are getting frustrated because they try whatever they can on the ice but it doesn’t make a difference, the other team is just so much better. Some of them say “oh it’s because EA rewards them because they spent more money in the shop so they give them the good matchup” and I wonder if that’s it. It shouldn’t be too hard to balance the matchmaking system. Every other game does that. Why can’t NHL do it? Screw the stuff you can buy in the store, fix the matchmaking system, or MISMATCHING system as it should be called!!!!NHL 27: 3 vs 3 game mode
EA_Aljo EA Sports added the "NHL Threes" game mode to NHL 18. It's a good game mode if you like playing arcade-style 3 vs 3 hockey without rules. EA Sports could finally add a game mode to NHL 27 where we can play 3 vs 3 hockey with real rules. NHL 26 has updated All-Stars teams, but they have a lot of extra players. The NHL All-Stars Game has been played in a 3 vs 3 format since the 2016-2017 season. Next season, the NHL All-Stars Game will be played in the familiar 3 vs 3 format, but instead of the usual inter-division tournament, this time the 3 vs 3 tournament will be played with a national team theme. It would be great to play with these All-Stars national teams in NHL 27, without extra players. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to create your own 3 vs 3 teams, with 11 players allowed per team. Hopefully we can finally get a game mode where we can play 3 vs 3 hockey with the right rules. .
Reverse hit
What kind of nonsense is this supposed to be? We just finished a game where the opponent did nothing but reverse hits. It was impossible to play. It had nothing to do with hockey. This simply doesn't happen in real hockey. I don't know who came up with this idea. The club that was doing it is called [REMOVED]. Edit: Removed club name. Hi, I would like to know if HUT or online versus is on dedicated server or peer to peer, cause for some reason when i play HUT on a 10ms ping the gameplay feels very heavy and delayed compared to online versus on a 70ms ping. It feels more responsive on online versus. Can someone explain please ?
