NHL 27 Face Scan Priority List. Tiers.

Here are some names I think should be included. I believe many of these players ratings are far too low, they are either stable NHL players with hundreds of games played, or young players who have stepped up, earned a spot, or are right on the edge of becoming full-time NHLers.

With today’s technology and the use of AI, which we know they are using, I think players rated between 82–78 OVR should be prioritized. I’m asking and hoping for as many of them as possible!

I will continue my list too later today, only looked through it quickly. Im aslo working on a list that includes players with scans that needs a redone like Alexander Holtz( helmets dont fit him and something about the scan is off), Bertuzzi, Drysdale, and more, many of them could work if we had more customization choices, as you have pointed out. Maybe if i do an list naming them and comparig real headshots something will be done.

Appreciate that a lot man, seriously. Means a lot because I definitely put a ton of time into digging through this and trying to make it realistic, not just a wishlist.

Couldn’t agree more too, this is really the bare minimum at this point. There are too many guys playing real NHL minutes that still don’t look like themselves in game.

Hoping they take notice this year because this is one area that would make a huge difference for both franchise and HUT users.

Definitely agree on a bunch of these and I will update the list.

As a Sabres fan I am really hoping for Quinn (long overdue), Doan, Ostlund, and Krebs to all make it in.
Huge Kulich fan too. After his rookie year, if he hit 20 goals I honestly think he gets a scan. Brutal timing with the blood clots, and I agree with you, without a rookie showcase scan he is probably one of those guys EA overlooks until he forces it statistically.

You are spot on with Logan Stanley as well. The 84 rating plus the trade to Buffalo feels like exactly the type of situation where EA gives a guy a bump. They definitely lean into trades and exposure.
Cannot believe I missed Sam Rinzel either, good call there.

I will take a deeper look at Greene, Kaiser, Del Mastro, Lardis, and the rest from Chicago too. That is a team where they might sneak a couple guys in just based on future importance.

Same with the Colorado group you mentioned. Blankenburg and Kiviranta especially fall into that “real NHL role but easy to overlook” category, which is exactly what this list is trying to highlight.

I did a ton of digging into trends like rookie showcase scans, NHL usage, trades, and team visibility to build this, and originally had way more names. Tried to narrow it down to who I actually think EA will put in, not just who deserves it.
Appreciate you adding to it, this is exactly the kind of input that helps refine the list.

Notable players that should be included somewhere in the list

• ANA Ryhan Poehling, Drew Helleson (over 100 games with the team)
• BUF Logan stanley (84 rated longtime full NHLer) , Jiri Kulich
• CHI Ryan Greene, Wyatt Kaiser, Sam Rinzel, Nick Lardis, Ethan Del Mastro. These are and will be essential pieces for Chicago.
• COL Joel Kiviranta ( 300+ games in the nhl), Nick Blankenburg ( Full time Nhler), Parker Kelly.

EA_Aljo​ These guys should be in the game, a lot of them have likely been scanned already and participated in the rookie showcase. Others had huge breakout seasons and arguably should have been in the game already. This is amazing work from someone who is not a developer and just shows how much people care about player likeness. I also would like to see the game take another step forward in this regard - adding these guys would improve both HUT and franchise mode significantly.
