@TTZ. The game has evolved from one whose emphasis was on creating a realistic NHL experience, to one where, all aspects of the game are cost evaluated. We have seen good portions of the game removed, and replaced with glam they believe will be financially rewarding. There have been so many suggestions by players here in the forum, requesting new and old formats to be implemented, only to fall on deaf ears. The exclusion of a PC version, is an example of how they dont see this as being worth the cost to resurrect. The game almost seems like a funneling manipulation, where you as a player are guided down a path that will hopefully get you into the buying packs mode. The new salary cap addition, where with the combination of line combinations, combine to keep your team complient with your personal cap. Then they keep bringing out weekly, new objectives  where certain players are needed to accomplish them. Forcing you to adjust your team makeup.  With the removal of SBs, they also removed incentive. No goal to test your skills. Now just a marathon 55 day event, where everyone ends up at the same ending  same rewards, whether you play rookie or superstar. This game as we see it today, is the result of no competitive alternatives, like we had in the past. And as long as your the sole provider of the game. Its a take it or leave it attitude.
