Why am I playing against pay to win players?

Absolutely ridiculous to be on a heater with the boys, playing actual hockey and then all the sudden faceoff against a floating, green, goblin who can go blue line to blue line before you can say, "There he goes." Realize I'm an old head now, but players that are paying for their loadouts should not be playing those that don't. Absolute rubbish.

"Pay to win" players are the ones who purchase the Xfactor packs (which can get close to or around $50 CAD) or the pre-builds (haven't cared to check how much money EA wants for those) that offer an actual stat bonus advantage over another player. Yes, I know they can be earned through the season pass (however, the flawed logic here is that casual players may never earn enough points to unlock them + some players are willing to pay upfront for them) thus offering a stat advantage over a normal build, which means they are paying for a stat advantage over another player.

I am not stating that a stat advantage replaces skill, however, if we want to look at a player that has enhanced stats that can't be made via a normal build this can give a speed or shot accuracy + power advantage that can affect the flow of the game and experience on a whole for the players.

  • They refuse to accept P2W doesn't literally mean guaranteed wins 100% of the time so this post most likely won't go anywhere.
I wouldn't mind seeing a premium content toggle in-game; it'd fix a lot of issues people are playing and probably would reduce the amount of people adding to EA's shady monetization schemes since there'd be less people to take advantage of
