Why is the community not making a bigger deal about horrible matchmaking?

I have encountered the same issues, its ridiculous and makes me not want to play the game anymore. I've been a nhl loyalist since the 90s and I love chel, but its just not fun to just start playing the game and immediately play a diamond or platinum. Its not fun getting curb stomped every game by people with 1200 goals when the games been out for 3 weeks.
