WOC matchmaking still buns

1,000% we typically play anyone but last night we decided to start looking at team's records and its was like 4 team's in a row that were like 500-75.. not to mention we have no match room size.. there is just 0 matchmaking apart from location. Extremely bad look. We only play once every couple weeks and have a sub .500 in 6's, we're better in 3's and threes. Now that I have a baby and getting ready to deploy i don't have much time at all, so playing teams who play every night and use every small exploit in the game is just not an enjoyable experience. After 4 of those teams a few guys hopped off and we ended the night. 

The biggest issue is probably that the game just isn't actually improving and so less people are buying (i believe) and so to mask this issue we have no matchmaking. Allow all room sizes and all skill levels and then you will get thrown into a game quickly so it seems like a lot of people play and people will complain less about searching for 30 min for a game. 

Yeah man it’s definitely disappointing, sorry to hear that’s been your experience. Kinda same for us- hard to get 5 guys online at the same time, so when we do and all we play is those 500 W teams… it’s not fun for anyone. 

Last week I was matched with a team that was 4-35, they disconnected after our first goal (of course it didn't count) and we immediately got matched with a few Elite 1's - One guy had 36,000 RP and the other guy hovered, get this, 45,000 RP;  never knew it could go that high haha.

There is been 0 difference in how fast we get matches over the years but cmon now - make it all make sense lol

Yeah the club we play has had this experience also. We played a few games last night and 2 teams just used some weird stick handle exploit.  Another one we ran into is if the goalie has low pressure they will deliberately pull them and rag the puck until the goalie comes back. For some reason is regains their energy. Going to try and make a video on this soon. Just really takes out the enjoyment of the game and a waste of time when life outside is busy. 

Yeah bro, for real! After getting rocked for 20 straight games (over the course of 2 weeks or so) by dudes with that same 30k RP, we are at like 18k RP and STILL get paired with them. Like what?? Then, shortly after I made this post, we suddenly got paired against a bronze 1 team. Finally had a chance to breathe and actually play our game. But we had a good streak for once last night after I posted and played people our skill level. This is a very rare occurrence unfortunately. Sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing the same bro! It’s not fun to play those super high ranked teams, especially when you’re just a casual player with your friends.

man, Ritchy, that sucks! I saw your post about the goalie being pulled. we haven’t experienced that yet but what a bummer man! That’s so weird. People manage to exploit the pants off of anything they can find here… that’s why you need 97 speed to even compete anymore.

Unfortunately, I have a half dozen screen shots of these terrible mismatches. Matchmaking should be based on RP. And you can still keep that regional.

Yeah and why can't the hitting be toned down a little bit now I get that it's more of an arcade version of hockey but the hits are out of control and it ruins the experience for me personally if you play six on six with six people actually playing with no computer on each side it's just a hit show The whole game you can't set anything up it's **bleep** It needs to be toned down some in my opinion

I most often play 5s and it's very frustrating playing teams that only go for hits. Thankfully, we manage to still win the majority of those. It still takes away from the fun though. I would absolutely love to see it Truculence heavily toned down.
