From my experience with this game that when an item turns BND, it means you have already used it in a set, but the game did not update to remove it from your collection.

Who is the player? Sometimes, if you have other versions of that player in your lineup, it will cause issues as well.

Thanks for the added details. I'm not aware of any cases where an item changes to BND randomly. We'll certainly watch for other reports though. 

I think this is a bug because I played about 20 games with this player, after these games he somehow became BND

I removed it from the roster and, unfortunately, this error occurred. I don't have any 96 BNDs like that and I don't think there are any in the game, if I'm not mistaken.

Make sure cards are removed from all active lineups before trading them in.

The game apparently is not smart enough to tell you the reason for 1 of 2 possible errors.

"Item is currently in an active lineup"

"BND Items cannot be traded into sets"

So I exchanged it, it's written(UT)

Sorry. I should have asked if they have the BND flag. Not untradeable.
