Selecting a player gets the wrong player
I was getting to choose between STUTZLE,, EKHOLM, Jones, and Saros…. Somebody else I can’t remember. I wanted Saros , but for some reason I get stutzle…. I’m in the screen with his player and I can’t get back to get the other one…… and yes, I did not wait for the player to pop up. I just kept selecting a button cause I knew that that’s who I wanted. But for some reason, it selected this other player!!!
Hockey Ultimate Team is no longer your Ultimate Team
Would love to hear EA_Aljo thoughts on this one, and I don't want a response of "Go play online VS" or "HUT is a microtransaction game mode"... What is the definition of Hockey ULTIMATE Team? Is it my ultimate team, or the team that EA want you to build? This isn't EA Ultimate Team. They don't name my team, they don't control my controller, but they control my players cause there's only so much you can do with what they have provided. So why do I have to go and get TOTY in order to fit a salary cap? Honestly nothing will change from this post and I get that. Feedback isn't being passed along, as long as the whales (Who I can beat with a team full of ranked rewards 90 and below) drop money on this game it won't matter. This game requires you to play moments (Most of the time not using the "Ultimate" team you create). The objectives? Yea don't want to use those guys either. Only get to pick from the 10 players released every 2 weeks? No I am good. Don't feel like playing on rookie just to grind for these guys and get OBJs done with you guessed it, not MY ULTIMATE team. I would prefer a game where you complete objectives, get coins, and buy (mostly) whatever you want. Instead it's just more and more paywall junk really. I get TOTY is a big even and therefore a big money maker, but what a fumble. You used to be able to get event cards throughout the year and make TOTY at least 1 or 2. Now Chara, Roenick, etc. behind a paywall. YUCK. In terms of gameplay, HUT champs should be played on a neutral rink. None of this random trash that is international RAG ice. You can't claim a game is competitive and a 50/50 home/away comes up and you got to play on a different ice surface half the time. The full pressure system has to go. It is pure RNG with how some pucks bounce and some of the players here rely so heavily on getting it to full pressure. My goalie shouldn't be losing health when they take 3 low quality shots. Sick of the players skating into AI and they have zero awareness. If you look outside of this forum on things like redit, you will see the true state of this game. But, in the end this post won't mean much but feels good to get it off my chest. I won't be preordering the game next year, and maybe I'll wait for the black friday sale. I am done buying beta ICEQ games for the last however many years till you show that you care about the people who buy the game, cause buying the game is not FREE TO PLAY.L2/LT toxic gaming behavior
EA_Aljo When will something finally be done about this? Why can't these players be reported and punished with a 10-14 day HUT ban?! Lost connection
So I have lost connection three times today on Sunday the 18th of January. All other things in my apartment works fine, no network losses or anything. I can even go in and restart HUT straight away. But I do get that loss, but even more annoyingly I loose whatever process I have had during my games. This is not a network issue on my side, I have a very stable connection and as said it is ONLY HUT that looses the connection during games. I can sit and do what ever else for hours, but once I play a game I loose connection. Please fix this, I mean...HUT is after all one of the things that you monetize on. Always in the last couple minutes of a game, my team goes into an absolute turtle mode and can’t do anything while the other team decides to rip off three and four goals in two minutes …. Just finished the game up 1-0 less than three minutes to go…. My team turns into the absolute drag of a team I’ve ever used, and the guy comes in to scored three goals in less than two minutes…. And my team won’t even move and you think this is normal every game this happens….. absolutely pathetic, it happens so often that it can’t be coincidentalMislabeled Pack 1/16
The "Season 3 Elite Chance Pack" for 1500 NHL points gives out (UT) untradable cards instead of auctionable/tradeable cards like is to be assumed. Attached in images is the pack name, the pack odds, and the cards I pulled with the (UT) logo on them. I bought the pack twice thinking I was getting auctionable cards.HUT crossplay with a friend
Hello, has anyone actually managed to play a crossplay friendly match in HUT with a friend on another platform? Is this feature really working? According to EA, crossplay HUT friendlies should be possible and I bought the game mostly because of this feature. However, after trying absolutely everything, it still doesn’t work for us. We are on Xbox Series S and PS5, crossplay is enabled and we are already EA Friends. We have played EASHL, so EA Connect is clearly working. We also tried inviting from the main menu first, and then going into HUT to invite there but that also does not work. The problem is that in HUT Play a Friend there is no EA Connect or EA Friends option at all. When trying to invite a friend using the left bumper, only the Xbox friends list appears and there is no way to invite an EA friend from another platform inside HUT. Please help. Thank you.
New Captain bonuses
Now, hopefully this becomes redundant with the next content drop, but let’s look at the most recent Captain bonuses: Vegas: hey, just add Edvinsson from last season for $10M, and a Pens-XP-VGK for another $10! And 1 ovr for your 3xVGK line! FLA: GB-Icon-FLA for $10M, and if you got a TOTY, another 10 with the free Bergeron we all got. And 2AP with a GB defender. Carolina: 2x 1 ovr, $10M expect some love with better chemistry combos? And can we expect to see combos spread equally across the 92 captains? I’m fully expecting the Swiss to be ignored in either combos or msps…
