HUT offline is unplayable

I know this isn't the right place to post this, but EA's decision makes the game almost unplayable for HUT offliners who mostly want to play with their favorites.

THE BASE SALARY IS WAY TOO LOW

What good are dozens of combos if they don’t fit my players/theme?

I’ll never use certain players, not even for combos.

Why are people being punished who got lucky with Fantasy BND sets and can no longer use those players?

Why are there still no full TotY forward combos? Draisaitl has been benched since the TotY event because of this.

If you already have TotY McDavid and Pastrnak, it makes no sense to use their TotS variants instead because of the low salary combos. TotS Exchange Sets are currently pointless. 

If you guys didn’t ignore the EU community and would release “fodder” cards for us, we wouldn’t have to switch to expensive NHL Favorites and wouldn’t have a salary cap issue 🙄

I know that nothing will be fixed in Season4, and I really hope EA makes Season5 playable again. I also hope the salary cap is removed in NHL 27

    I agree. The only place where we should see a salary cap is the franchise mode. HUT would be lightyears better off without it.

    Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately that doesn't help me at all, since HUT is UNPLAYABLE.

    Schenn and Barzal will go up by 3mil today, and TotY Makar is guaranteed to get a TotS upgrade during TotS.

    It’s IMPOSSIBLE to buy or make new players, since they’re UNUSABLE due to the low base salary.

    Current progression is at 95ovr, which means a full 95ovr team requires a 320mil salary, BUT EA only gives us a full 88ovr team with 180mil.

    How is that supposed to work?

    And since the base salary was only 150mil at the start of the season4, that just proves whoever decided this hasn’t played HUT a single time since December.

    I’ve already benched cards worth several million coins and I’m pissed that I can’t use these cards

    There are only 3 ways to make the game playable again 

    - Remove the salary cap

    - Increase the base salary to the current MSP progression

    - Double all existing salary combos

     

    I’ve been buying NHL every year since NHL 94, and as a HUT whale, I’ve spent way too much money over the last few years. There were some bad things in HUT, but at least you could play, which is currently not possible.

    And announcing that I won’t be buying NHL 27 won’t change anything anyway, since nobody cares about that.

     

    What's so wrong that I just want to play HUT?

    The salary cap is so frustrating.

    I have a lineup of my highest OVR Players. I cannot use this lineup because it's 322M.

    Every time I want to play Cup Chase after a TOTY gets upgraded I have to see "invalid lineup"

    I dont know what I'm going to do next week when TOTY Mackinnon hits 99. I guess he's just off the team.
