Non-BND player is unable to be placed in a set

I have a 90 Boone Jenner that is unable to be added to the 92 Sanderson set. I've hard quit the game and restarted and powered down my system multiple times. Im linking a video of the sequence of events to see where the issue might be. Please help. These are expensive to make and I don't want to have to make a 3rd 90 Captain for this set

Could it also tell us that the card can't be added to a set because it's in a lineup if we try to add such a card to a set?

I'll pass this on for you.

And by the way, it says in the patch notes that 3rd jerseys for the WHL teams have been added or updated, but I just saw that those teams don't have 3rd jerseys in the game besides their home and away jerseys after the update. Do you know something about this?

    I've also passed this on.

And the new 3rd jersey for the ECHL team Utah Grizzlies is incorrectly classified as a light jersey. I believe it was indeed a light jersey before the update, but now after the update it is a dark green jersey so it should be classified as a dark jersey. And there are probably some other alternate jerseys that are also classified incorrectly because the classification wasn't changed when the jersey was updated even though it should have been changed. For example the ECHL team Fort Wayne Komets have two different orange alternate jerseys, and one of them is classified as a dark jersey while the other one is classified as a light jersey, which doesn't quite make sense.

    I've relayed this as well.

bugsmasher03 Don't build a new Captains card because of this issue. The 90 Jenner is probably in a non active lineup. It seems like after the newest update we can't add a card to a set if the card is in a lineup, even if that lineup isn't active. So if you remove the 90 Jenner from the non active lineup, then you should be able to add it to a set.

EA_Aljo If we try add a BND card to a set, the game tells us that BND cards can't be added to sets. Could it also tell us that the card can't be added to a set because it's in a lineup if we try to add such a card to a set? Right now it only says "error sending item to set", which doesn't really tell us anything. It would be much better if it told us why the card can't be added to a set, like it does with BND cards.

Players that are in any lineup (even if it’s not active) will generate an error if you try to put them in sets.

  • I have the same problem with mine as well also can’t put in the 88 overalls into the 90 captain sets to even make the 92
