Passing needs a major rework or patch

yes, completely.  To me it's since the inception of icon passing.  Since that we have issues.  I think it's gotten better but the fact it's even an issue is a problem, imo.  Aljo it's not just fatigue and lower attributes.  Sometimes the game just does what it wants.  It has it's own mind made up as to where the next pass is going to go, like you had no say at all.  And there's still times where you push an icon button and it goes to a completely different player.  These are game impacting errors

100% agree on it being an issue since they introduction of ICON passing and I think more impactful is the introduction of online pass assist. Total control and icon passing actively made this game worse. 

Good call. Forgot about total control. Yeah you could be on to something there.  When did that implemented?  That would be another key piece of evidence. These things are, seemingly, wrecking the game

I have yet to see this happen. My passes may not always be on target, but they are going in the direction I'm aiming. I wish we still had the controller overlay in replays. Without it, we can't actually see what the issue is. My club typically has over 80% passing in our WoC games. I think if there were a legit issue with passing, that number would be far lower. Like I said though, aim is more difficult this year and as far as I know, that's not intended. The team is aware of it.

Are you playing HUT yet or still only WOC?  you need to be playing Moments and all the game modes in HUT to get an appreciation for it, i think.  You'll be attempting to pass it to your dman and it will instead change it to a guy in slot or someone you didn't want to pass it to. 

Here's a taste of the action.  It's an hour long, i know you won't watch it.  But that's me attempting to complete the 3 one timer Moment last week, during the really really odd 24 hour moment.  I'm still beyond baffled as to why they put in a 24 hour moment on USA Thanksgiving day.  

Anyways, you'll see lots of evidence of terrible passing, really slow laggy menus, etc.  Fun fact i put in almost 2 hours trying to complete this challenge.  This is not exactly how i want to spend my NHL time.

I mean. Even in the patch notes it admits there’s issues. We just need you to play HUT and you'll experience it. It’s gotten better but that’s really not anything to brag about, at this point. IMO of course 

I played HUT for the first couple of weeks, but decided it wasn't for me. I also have played some Online Versus as well as Play Now against a buddy. Regardless of the mode, passing works the same. However, I don't use Icon passing and it's possible there's an issue where those passes aren't always accurate. Which is being addressed in today's update:

• Fix to icon passing where it was sending the puck in the player facing direction instead of towards the intended receiver

I’m telling you. Often it decides on the desitination of the pass more so than where you’re aiming. We shall see how it goes today with this patch.
