Players disappeared in set

Hey has anybody had the experience where they put players in a set and the players completely disappeared when they went back? I was trying to do the Auston Matthew’s set put 3 x 90 overall players in then went to build another 90 overall and when I went back in they were just gone. I looked in my trade pile, Inbox and collection and they weren’t in any of those. Any tips would be appreciated thanks
