This has happened to me personally two or three times, and again last night. You're playing a ranked online match, you're winning, and then the opponent does something, and the game suddenly ends, and it's counted as a loss. It wasn't a connection issue, because if that happens, a red bar appears in the top right corner saying, "Connection to the EA servers has been lost." But that message didn't appear. What I also noticed about this opponent was that their username kept changing in the player list—it showed two different usernames. What's going on? My username always stays the same. And you can see from the game statistics that my connection didn't drop.

I don’t think the OP would have had all those end game screens in the photos provided if there was a connection issue

Rockstaar80 That's right, you're right, when the connection is lost you're always taken straight to the main screen of NHL26.

My guess on the name switching is that people on a friends list are being invited to party and you’re just seeing a glitch. Possibly intentional in order to cause this outcome

Rockstaar80 If you mean they're playing in pairs, then it could, of course, be the case that different usernames are listed under the players. Personally, I don't like it when others play in pairs; you almost have no chance.

Just the only possibility I can think of. Team of two having a third person sending an invite to one or both of those players. I can’t see another user hopping in and out of a game any other way.
