Short side goals now?

Many players have very high or maxed out shoot power/accuracy now which will allow for more of those goals. Combined with quick release it is tough to stop but good defensive positioning and defensive style will keep those shot attempts from happening. Also a goalie with show stopper ability (I think) will also help cut down on those getting in. I have the Beast Mode Oettinger leveled all the way up with show stopper and sponge activated and he doesn't allow very many short side goals. 

Hi there. Just like real world hockey, short side goals are always possible. If you're frequently getting scored on by them, make sure to take away those chances as much as you can. Nothing has changed recently that would allow these to be scored more though.
