Five NHL Games Without Russian Language — Enough Is Enough

Dear EA SPORTS NHL Team,

Five consecutive NHL games without the Russian language.
NHL 23. NHL 24. NHL 25. NHL 26. And now NHL 27.
Seriously, EA — enough is enough.
How many more years are Russian-speaking players supposed to buy your full-price game while being completely ignored?
This is especially ridiculous considering the league your game is based on. According to official NHL statistics, 56 Russian players were listed on opening-day rosters for the 2025–26 season — 7.7% of the entire NHL. Russia was the FOURTH most represented nationality in the league.
We are talking about a league featuring Alexander Ovechkin, Nikita Kucherov, Kirill Kaprizov, Artemi Panarin, Evgeni Malkin, Andrei Vasilevskiy, Igor Shesterkin, Sergei Bobrovsky and many other Russian stars.
You are perfectly happy to put Russian players in the game, use their names, faces, statistics and achievements, sell HUT content involving them and promote the NHL as an international league.
But adding Russian TEXT to the menus is apparently too much?
What the hell is the justification for this?
Nobody is even asking you to record Russian commentary. We are asking for the interface, menus, descriptions, subtitles and basic game information to be available in Russian — something this series already had in the past.
NHL 27 currently supports only a tiny selection of interface languages, while one of the biggest hockey languages in the world is once again excluded.
This is **bleep** frustrating.
Russian is not spoken only in Russia. There are Russian-speaking hockey fans across Europe, North America, Central Asia, Israel and many other parts of the world. Many of us have been playing the EA NHL series for years or even decades.
We buy your games.
We play HUT.
We buy NHL Points.
We support this franchise.
And for five games in a row, you have effectively told us that our language is not worth supporting.
If there is a specific reason why Russian localization was removed, then please have the respect to explain it publicly.
Otherwise, BRING THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE BACK.
At the very least, give players Russian menus and interface text in NHL 27 or make Russian localization a priority for the next NHL game.
Russian-speaking NHL fans have been ignored for long enough.
We deserve an answer.
Regards,

A long-time EA SPORTS NHL player Marat Iz.
