Community ManagerI may be wrong, didn't play the play test.. and they weren't in the best position, and it wasn't timed right.. but is the defense still unable to make proper contact with someone using it due to a lack of animations? If that's the case then it is still going to be abused.. and it won't take much time at all for people to find all the best ways to abuse it. Hope I'm wrong, but that little footage doesn't have me convinced it's nerfed enough.. if defenders are unable to make proper contact then this is a MAJOR L for the dev team as this is THE major change to gameplay (and we all know it should have been a patch in the first place..)
Expect more stumbles from hits that don't fully connect and even in LTing. The animation to twist yourself is severely slowed down so as a defender you are able to line them up better. I was using a 6'5'' 180 TWF with 78 checking and I was able to handle people. When I rocked a 6'9 190 Defensive Dman I was destroying people with max checking. for this upcoming season. Yes I used lots of odd builds because that is for testing purposes. Since you didn't play the test I'd suggest using the 10hr trial to see for yourself if you got EA Play.
I'm deployed right now or I would have tested it. I will just see what people are saying when it releases. Just following on here for now. Hoping the build changes for WoC are inspiring.
