My Opinion so far on my be a pro career mode.

I just got the game yesterday and naturally I started my favorite be a pro mode.

I like to start out saying I'm enjoying the mode so far.

The pro's

  1. I love the announcers so far.
  2. I love the Authentic Arenas. 
  3. I love the Goal celebrations and the fist bumps after a Goal is scored.
  4. I love the player reactions after they get penalized.
  5. I love how the poke check works, actually think it's too powerful this year, that's just my opinion.
  6. I love the Leadership storyline, just wish they would add more storylines like, defensive specialist, offensive specialist, or just something without the form score.
  7. I love the walkouts, it's cool seeing the other teams' walkouts if you are in their arena, it's still weird seeing them do their walkouts but still cool.
  8.  Authentic Goal horns are cool, but to be honest I have no idea what each team's Goal horn sounds like?
  9. I love seeing the other team's playbook popup when I'm on the ice, just wish my teams playbook would popup or something?

That's all I can think of of the pro"s so far.

The con's

  1. It seems my AI team constantly gives up the puck in my end?
  2. It seems my AI team constantly gets outworked in my end, sometimes there will be 3 of my players and one of theirs and they magically get the puck? maybe it's because we are ahead and the AI team I'm playing against have the offensive playbook working? sometimes they are ahead and it's still that way?
  3. I had one lockup in between periods, have no idea why? only happened once.
  4. The announcers sometimes get it wrong, it's just random but they do get plays wrong, just heard it once or twice, so really no big deal.
  5. Of course, the form score is still solely based off of scoring, please give us an option to either turn off the form score, lower it lower than what it is? there are all kinds of great ideas to improve the form score in this forum. 
  6. There are way too many fights especially during the preseason?
  7.  Why no playable All-Star game again?

I'll add I play my be a pro on Superstar difficulty so some of the con's might be because of that fact?

    I can agree with almost all of that. I also like the fact that teams play differently; some are hyper-aggressive, while others practically sleep on the ice. There is one thing I just don't get: when I receive the puck, two or three players immediately swarm me—even when the opponent is leading and playing shorthanded in my defensive zone. That kind of "suicide hockey" isn't fun. I notice that the coaches hardly ever change their tactics; they play as if they have the man advantage even when shorthanded, taking unnecessary risks.

    Btw. this game playlist is amazing!

    If you are a rookie and you are left on the bench, then it makes sense. I play on 10 or 12 minutes periods.

    I have no idea how they do the enforcer in the be a pro mode?  I'm always a sniper because I love scoring Goals and getting assists and points. 

    I know the be a pro mode isn't perfect but so far it's been a fun experience for me.

    How do you feel about no coaching logic ? 

    How do you feel about being left on the bench in the finals 5 minutes, and if you play with an accelerated game clock, it can be 1 actual minute?

    Whos your current enforcer ?  I've had crosby as my enforcer, the injury prone Joffry lupul,  everyone but the true enforcer
