NHL 27 – Frequent Disconnects and RP Losses

I’ve been experiencing serious connection issues in NHL 27 for the past two days. I’m getting disconnected in the middle of games almost every game or every other game.

The biggest issue is that these disconnects are resulting in significant RP losses, even when the problem appears to be connection- or server-related rather than something I intentionally caused. It’s extremely frustrating to spend time playing and building RP, only to lose a large amount because of a disconnect.

I also believe players should have the option to rejoin a game after being disconnected, as long as the game is still in progress. Giving players a short window to reconnect would prevent unfair losses and make the experience much more reasonable.

I hope this issue can be investigated and addressed soon. Frequent disconnects combined with large RP penalties are making competitive modes very frustrating to play.

Please consider improving the connection stability, reviewing how RP losses are handled during disconnects, and adding a rejoin-game option for players who lose connection

Hey Aljo, I’m in British Columbia, Canada, with Bell, and I’m connected directly by Ethernet. I’ve already done all the troubleshooting, and my internet works fine everywhere else. The only time I’m losing connection is while playing NHL 27.

Honestly, I’m getting really frustrated. I paid a lot of money for this game and I haven’t been able to properly play for the past few days because of these disconnects. On top of that, I’m losing RP through no fault of my own.

Please check what’s happening with the NHL 27 servers in BC/Western Canada and let me know if the RP I lost can be restored. I paid for a working game, and right now I can’t even play it properly.

Hey there. We'll continue to monitor for any issues with the servers. What region are you in and who is your ISP?

Have you tried the steps in this article for connection troubleshooting? Also, if you're on a wireless connection, switching to a wire should make it a lot more stable.
