NHL 27 be a pro

Ea have to change the terrible form score system. It makes the game unplayable. I have 9 points in 4 games in the AHL and am sitting at a 72 form score. 65 minimum to move up. You only get good form from scoring points so it’s unplayable if you’re a defensive d man. I had 8 points in 4 games in the preseason but I didn’t score in the last game and it dropped my form score from 100 to 60 and I didn’t make the roster. This is the worst addition and was hoping it would be fixed in 27 but of course it wasn’t.

  • Yeah, the form score needs work. A defensive defenseman shouldn’t be punished because they aren’t putting up points every game. It should factor in things like positioning, takeaways, blocked shots and overall defensive play instead of relying so heavily on scoring.

  • There were so many complaints about the form score all last year and they just added a Leadership storyline? I guess it's good if you can score and are an offensive player but if you can't score or just want to play defense you are screwed. I know it's just a game, but the form score has nothing to do with Hockey, how many real-life NHL players can score every single frigging game? I don't own the game yet, but wouldn't it make more sense to have offensive players to have a scoring form score and defensive players to have a defensive rating form score?

Honestly why do they even use stats for it? They literally have a built in coach rating system that judges offence defense and team play. Why not just use that?? Like if your overall rating for a game was 86% shouldn’t that directly translate to form score? I’ve had games where I’ll have an A+ overall score and then get a 30 form score because I didn’t put up a point. It makes no sense why they don’t just use what is already built into the game
