Online versus attention please!!

I only play online versus , and im sure im not the only one as i never have a wait to find an opponent.  Unfortunately most of the time im am matched up with players that are more video game experts than true hockey game fans .  The feature is very popular and seems to get zero attention or structure .  Nothing since ive started playing has been written anywhwhere of how the point aystem actually works and there is so much potential to add interesting structure to it .  Fighting stats , points for shutouts, some sort of reward points for not quiting and mamy other possibilities.  Hoping EA sports hears this and  at least a adresses the obvious need for a stronger more structured effort into this very important part of the game to a large number of customers , im sure more like me out there who has been a lifelong yearly buyer of the game since at least 1993.
