Online versus attention please!!

I only play online versus , and im sure im not the only one as i never have a wait to find an opponent.  Unfortunately most of the time im am matched up with players that are more video game experts than true hockey game fans .  The feature is very popular and seems to get zero attention or structure .  Nothing since ive started playing has been written anywhwhere of how the point aystem actually works and there is so much potential to add interesting structure to it .  Fighting stats , points for shutouts, some sort of reward points for not quiting and mamy other possibilities.  Hoping EA sports hears this and  at least a adresses the obvious need for a stronger more structured effort into this very important part of the game to a large number of customers , im sure more like me out there who has been a lifelong yearly buyer of the game since at least 1993.

    I agree that a little more transparency would go a long way. Even something as simple as explaining how the points and ranking system works would help players understand what they're working toward. Hopefully it's an area that gets more attention in future updates.

    Absolutely, and thats just the start, a **bleep** of potential that just seems to me that ea sports doesnt give a crap about it and has a feel of a very half assed effort , feels unfinished, and there is a large number of paying customers that use it like its the only mode thats it thats all .  Like i said i really hope the developers or decision makers read this and really consider adressing it , personally if i was part of a team working on a yearly opportunity to help put out a product that has been a staple in a very large number of addicted and extremely loyal players that deserve at the very least a starting explanation to the actual rules of points for online versus .  Bushleauge at best and i know there are many others out there that deserve better .

    I'd like to see Online Versus get more attention too. Even small additions like better progression, clearer ranking information, more detailed stats, and rewards for finishing games could make the mode feel much more engaging.
