Third-Party CHEL League Platform / EA Match Data Access

Hi EA_Aljo,

I’m exploring development of an independent competitive World of CHEL league platform and wanted to clarify something before investing significant development time into it.

The platform would need read-only access to completed CHEL club games and player statistics so league games could be automatically imported rather than manually entered.

I understand EA has previously said it does not provide general NHL API access. At the same time, established league platforms such as LeagueGaming and SportsGamer currently appear to have automated EA game/stat ingestion.

I’m not asking for proprietary information about those companies. I’m trying to determine whether there is an authorized path available to a new third-party league platform.

Specifically:

  1. Does EA permit a third-party competitive CHEL league to programmatically retrieve completed club match and player statistics?
  2. If so, what is the authorized method for accessing that data?
  3. Is there an EA SPORTS NHL developer, partnerships, esports, or business contact who handles these types of integrations?
  4. Would such a platform be permitted to store and publicly display the resulting league/player statistics?

The proposed integration would be read-only. It would not modify the game, interact with gameplay, access private player information, or automate player accounts.

I’m mainly looking to get the correct person/team at EA so I can understand the permitted technical path before beginning development.

Thanks for any direction you can provide and hope you’ve have a wonderful summer!
