BAP Mode Bug- The game code thinks you are a rookie forever

Product: NHL 22
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a new season as a Goalie in BAP mode
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time you start a new season as a goalie in BAP mode the game still thinks your a rookie, all the same rookie cutscenes will play no matter how many seasons you've played. The game forever keeps you as a rookie it will give you the same rookie storylines and same X-factors every season. I'm in my fourth season as a goalie now, I have 85 Career games played a 92 Ovr and my role says I'm an Elite Goalie but the game still thinks I'm a rookie and will start a Backup goalie over me no matter what. It's obviously a bug please can you help me I was playing Goalie Mode long term but this is ruining it for me.
What do you expect to see? I want the game to stop thinking I'm a rookie and acknowledge my Player Role. My player has a 92 OVR with Elite Goalie Role but the game doesn't register it and thinks I'm still in my first season .I'm in my fourth season as a goalie but the game still thinks I'm a rookie can you please fix the coding for Goalies in BAP. Usually for Goalies, line score and roles are determined by Overall . I'm a 92 OVR Elite Goalie I should be the starting goalie now but I'm still being given minimal starts and the game still says I'm a rookie . I want the game to stop thinking I'm a rookie but there was some kind of coding oversight for Goalies and the game registers you as a rookie forever.

For Goalies in BAP the game registers you as a Rookie forever, every time you start a new season the same cutscenes play and the game still thinks you're a rookie. I played four seasons I  have a 92 OVR and my role is Elite Goalie but the game doesn't register it because it thinks you I'm a Rookie.

    EA sports knows this issues been like this since the game came out and still hasn’t done NOTHING TODAY OR TOMORROW did nothing so talking to this EA manager whatever he is is not gonna fix the problem because today December 2 and it’s still doing it this is a joke EA is a joke 🤷🏾‍♂️🤬

    How many updates have you had since the game came out and I’m still getting called a rookie after so many seasons are you serious EA is a joke you generate all that money from us but can’t fix the goalie from being called a rookie forever are you kidding me are you really kidding me🤡🤡🤬

    You realize this is the thread for an issue in NHL 22, right? So...last year's game. I have not had this issue in NHL 23. Looks like EA took all that money and used it to fix this problem. Maybe read the title first, or at least some of the posts, all of which state NHL 22, before you go off on forum moderator who's job in this case is collect as much information as possible regarding the issue and simply to pass on the messages to the devs.

    Unless you're still playing NHL 22, which is cool, but why would a yearly release want to fix bugs in an older game when the newer one is already out?

    Messages like yours make them NOT want to help you on your issue.

    You are a perpetual rookie in BAP goalie. It’s how the game is and it doesn’t matter what the settings are. I am in my 5th season and I am still the perpetual rookie again. Meaning that even tho the coach no longer says I have to pick up my game (after the 4th season) in the stats.. Im a rookie goalie. In the commentary I am a rookie goalie. Of course this is the Xbox version, but to let you know that even tho it doesn’t affect game play, its annoying to hear cut scene guy say the rookie or after the second game of the season I hear “he is going to play in his 60th game of the season”

    You know what’s funny is I’m playing the EA / CodeMasters 2022 game Grid Legends and have been seeing the same thing (hence why my search brought me here). It always says I’m a Rookie in my name title plate. So annoying lol.

    I see EA was so concerned about this bug from 3 years ago that is still exists in NHL25. I hadn’t bought an NHL game since 22 because not much changed from year to year. Did this year only to see just how little changes. Come on EA. How can a bug like this still be here?
