Battle points being reduced.
I am on a PS4. I am in HUT squad battles. I was Elite 3, and earned enough point to advance to Elite 2. The next time I went into the game, I was once again at Elite 3 a couple hundred points from Elite 2. I played again a couple games, was solidly Elite 2, then next time I went into game, I was once again, dropped to Elite 3 a few hundred points short of Elite 2.
This has happened 6 or seven times in a row. I should be close to if not already up to Elite 1, but it keeps removing points until I am pushed back to elite 3.
What gives??? I am unable to advance beyond Elite 3 and am losing out on better rewards.
I was sure this happened last season, but then I decided it was probably my imagination. Now I am certain it was NOT my imagination.

Your placement in Squad Battles and Rivals is fluid. This means that if others are surpassing your rank, it's going to push yours down. So, if you want to finish in Elite 1, it's best to have a good buffer. Depending on when you quit playing. With the season ending in about an hour and a half, you should be well into Elite 1 to have the best chances at keeping that rank.
