Be A Pro Goalie Equipment

When I start Be a Pro in the NHL, the goalie equipment does not match the active roster goalie equipment.  Specifically the colorways, it is very noticeable on Utah where the goalie equipment colors are still red like in Arizona. If playing with the same roster in play now, the colorway is correct. Why is this the case for Be a Pro?  Is there a reason the colorways differ from mode to mode?
