Yeah it’s missing the junior season which is ridiculous. Why did I get drafted 160 overall as a goalie to the ducks, and being a backup to Gibson when I’m 72ovr? I went sub.900 and somehow got the starting job the next season? I played like garbage and they still started me, now a 76 ovr, more than Gibson.
why?
why does the game not punish you for being bad? Why can’t you get sent down to the ahl? Or back to the ohl/q/whl if you’re not ready?
I was so pumped for the revamp of this mode, but I was so disappointed by taking out these vital features that not only make the game realistic, but also actually fun and rewarding
Another Feautire removed that really Ticked me off was you get drafted by the rangers like i did and your toast you have to stay there your career you cant request a trade anymore that is just unacceptable you are making a game realistic yet the team your drafted to from the memorial cup is prison if you dont want to play there cause there is no way to goto were you want to play
- @Roman_Reinss oh I didn't even realize that was taken out. But yes, that should definitely be an option. Can you change the teams when becoming UFA, at least? I'm not that far yet, so I don't know.
And I'll add that the contract negotiations staying the same is a real let down (just read that they haven't changed).
I think you should be able to ask for a sum and term, with maybe your agent suggesting something, but you could make the decision in the end. And the team might offer you something else, and you'd end up negotiating a bit.
