Black Screen when starting an offline game. (in-game)

Product: NHL 22
Platform:Xbox Series X
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Randomly while starting a Squad Battle or Be a pro game offline, the game load but everything but the HUD, player indicator at the bottom the screen is pitch black

What do you expect to see? A normal game screen.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Offline
Insert Game Mode or Feature here Be a Pro or Squad Battle offline
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM)
What is your time zone? CTT - GMT + 8:00
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? GT : Symtex

I will insert a screen capture when I get the chance. I was able to reproduce the problem twice over the past week.

Hey, everyone. This is an issue we're currently investigating. It's also possible this happens when spamming the A/X button before loading into the game.

Interestingly, I can see the highlighted positional zones in Be A Pro. The rest of the game functions, I can interact, and fight, I just can't see. The menus also work fine, and display correctly. just all the 'lights' are turned off.

Game mode: Be A Pro
Before the error occurred I selected sim to next event>Play Game, and tapped X Quickly through the menus. I did hit pause as soon as allowed, before the intro played, as I needed to step away. When I came back it was black screened, with the UI and HUD still present. I did not change any settings.

@EA_Aljo Happens on PS4 also, a very common bug.

@EA_Blueberry 1. ElkkuPwn_ 2. PS4 3. Be A Pro 4. Was starting game 7 of conference finals, answered the media normally. They gave me a challenge. Entered the game, the screen was black from the start to finish. Had to simulate, lost the series.

Fresh boot. Has happened 3 times since starting in Feb.
Always use latest build.
Quit and reboot, next game was back to normal each time.
It's like the overhead lights are off.
See stars for player indicators but can't see ice, players. Tried switching thru all offline camera modes, both skating directions but can't salvage.
When u quit and it sims you a loss, the commentary really makes u feel like a bum for playing this game ngl
