Body checking is IMPOSSIBLE

I’ve noticed it’s nearly impossible to body check as well. You just slide off them like butter.
I don’t agree with BAP being good this year though. The challenges/conversations are bugged out badly, and you can’t even play a junior season to determine your draft ranking. It’s based off 2-6 games which is ridiculous. And you can’t even get sent back to juniors, or demoted to the AHL for playing poorly.
the whole game is a mess as until they fix it and hopefully add features back, like the junior season, and the ability to edit player types in FM after it’s been started, the game isn’t worth playing.
I never thought I’d say nhl 20 is a good game. I guess I won’t Cus it isn’t. But it is in better shape than this game
If you're having some difficulties I suggest either turning off penalties so you can get a bit of a late hit that will count, or just turn up your aggression in the sliders; your size and build allow you to obliterate people when it is near max

We shouldn’t have to turn off penalties just to make a hit..... hitting is a vital part to the game.
nor should we have to max out sliders, just to make a hit... all in all, the game is in a very poor state. Just even just the gameplay, but all the modes are incomplete and bugged.

I adjusted the sliders, but like @SkylerJames13 said, why should I have to make hitting easier in a game that's meant to be physical, especially if my prototype is built around that.
Of course, since all the rules changes in the past 5 years hitting has pretty much been gutted from the real game, so there's probably no use complaining about this. I guess EA is just following all the white collars that run the NHL.

What height/weight are you running? I’m assuming you’re used to past games though and you haven’t made your player too small.Try to be mindful of when you initiate the RS to trigger a hit; don’t hold it for very long before attempting, try for once you’re quite close to your target. Can also help to be moving slower and not charging full speed when going for the hit.
