I wanted to mention that the issues @dmoneyballin is mentioning here are actually different problems from the one I made this post for. In total there are 5 bugs.
1 - the game awards you zero points after a win (as seen in the photos), I only noticed this with Anthony Duclair hut rush mode, and was still able to earn them in the other mode. Restarted the game and still got zero points (as illustrated in the second picture). However after waiting a few days I was able to earn points in this mode (while now experiencing the other 2 bugs @dmoneyballin mentioned).
2 - this bug happens in all game modes (I made a post about it before, and it has been happening for weeks). You complete a game, then complete another and earn the exact same points as the previous game despite a different score (see my post concerning 3,545 points on repeat).
3 - this happens in all game modes. Complete a game and realize that the progress from your last game didn’t save (can continue to happen one game after the other). When this happens you re-earn the hut rush tier progress you should have already completed, without getting the rewards again when you tier up again.
4 - this happens in all modes. During gameplay your dekes won’t register. There is a requirement to be within a certain distance of an opponent and facing them for the deke to count (which is fine), but often it will not count regardless. Ie I tie drag around someone and score, and I only get the wrist shot points.
5 - this happens in all game modes. Often a goal will show up as “goal” only and award no points. I have noticed 3 scenarios where this happens. If you score the same way it will not count for points for any repeat dekes/shots. Ie you scored a wrist shot, any other wrist shots will not count for points unless you do something to change the goal title (top ched, buzzer beater, etc.) next, if your shot deflects off the opponent before going in it will not count any of your previous deke/shots, as if the AI scored on themselves. And lastly sometimes you will get no points for no reason. Sometimes you will score and see the dekes/shots you did below the total points listed on the top right and even though this is a brand new deke that went in undeflected, it still will not count for anything. I can’t find a pattern or reasoning as to why this happens.
So yeah, these are a couple of the bugs plaguing hut rush. Makes a mode that should be about 40 games take about 100+ with all the lost points.
