Cant have the number I want on be A pro

On be A pro, I set my jersey number to 37. There's someone on my team "Blackhawks" that has 37. I went to the roster setting, captains and jersey settings and gave the guy who has #37 another number, but it doesn't change his number in be A pro. Is there any way I can have my BE A Pro guy's jersey the number I want?
