Can't see certain things (Heads, Jerseys, etc)

I downloaded the $99 deluxe version for my ps4. I installed and went to edit my player. I can't see anything like heads, jerseys, things like this. I tried restarting my system, I tried uninstalling ...

    That's been causing some issues. Try deleting and reinstalling following these steps:

    Delete anything NHL 21 related off your console.

    Go to your consoles online store through a web browser and initiate the download.

    Make sure the game and the update are both 100% installed. Do not enter the game while they are still installing.

    Power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up.

    Try playing again and let me know if it's working or not.

I deleted the game just the regular way, but my trophies still show, is this okay? I am on my download list on the Playstation store website about to click download to ps4.

      How will I be able to tell the download & update are both installed fully? Last time it told me the game was ready to play so I went in and then when I went into training camp I saw in the top corner that it was only at 33% And I'm not sure but I thought I had to click something to do the update?

        It'll be completely done when you don't see it downloading any longer. This bug happens when you load into the game when it says it's ready to play. You should be able to highlight the game, press the Options button on your controller and choose check for updates.

      Ok it Just said Installed in the left of my screen for my system. Do I have to go into the game to do the update? Or is there somewhere else I can do the update without going into the game?
