Thanks for letting me know. If I can think of anything else, I'll post it here. For now, I'm stumped ☹️
After chatting with EA Technical Support, They could not find a solution/fix to my issue and simply told me to report it here which i did! Not sure what else to say or do. I just hope that it doesn't happen to me when i get NHL22!

It's an odd one for sure. Since there are no other games with this issue, it seems like it should be a setting in NHL, but I just haven't been able to find one that causes this. Out of curiosity, what is the favorite team you've selected? Is it one in a European country by chance?

Yes, it is puzzling as to why this issue occurred!

It's just odd that NHL is the only game this is happening in so it makes sense it would be coming from the game. It's also only happening on your Series X so maybe there's a setting on your console causing it. Hopefully, we can find out. If I have anything else to suggest, I'll let you know.

Yes indeed, either game or console issue for sure, but i am leaning more towards an in-game issue than the console issue due to the fact that i have no issues on the otehr EA Sports games.

Have you tried contacting Microsoft to see if they know of anything with your account that may affect this? Everyone I'm seeing and people I've talked to points to a console region issue.

To be honest, no i have not even thought about contacting Microsoft/Xbox technical support. But knowing them and speaking out of experience, they are always quick to pass the blame on to either the maker of the game or something else before they decide to help and admit that the issue might be from their end!
