To Earn Christmas Lights: 

• Log-in to earn the HUT Daily Reward - Limit: Once per day – 10 Christmas Lights
• Complete the Christmas Gold Player Set - Limit: unlimited – 10 Christmas Lights
• Complete the Christmas Gold Player Jumbo Set - Limit: unlimited – 25 Christmas Lights
• Beat the Daily Christmas Advent Calendar Challenge - Limit: Once per day –30 Christmas Lights
• Complete a game of HUT (that is NOT a HUT Challenge game) - Limit: unlimited – 30 Christmas Lights
• Purchase Christmas Packs – Limit: repeatable – Reward: 5,15 or 30 Christmas Lights
• Complete the Christmas Player Sets (Hartnell, Carter, Crawford, Zetterberg) - Limit: Once per set – 50 Christmas Lights
• Complete the Master Christmas Player Set (Brent Burns) - Limit: Once – 100 Christmas Lights 

The more you do, the more lights the community earns. The more lights the community earns, the higher tier the community will move to together. There are 12 tiers in total, each having a different total of lights needed to unlock, and each coming with their own unique reward. At the end of the January 3rd, the total number of lights earned will determined the reward tier that the community gets. Only players who contribute to the Christmas Lights total will be eligible to receive Gift of Giving rewards.

Gift of Giving Reward Tiers:

Tier 1: 

• 1,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 1 Gold Rare Player 

Tier 2:

• 2,500,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 3 Gold Rare Players 

Tier 3: 

• 5,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 5 Gold Rare Players 

Tier 4: 

• 10,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 6 Gold Rare Players, 2 Gold Collectibles 

Tier 5: 

• 30,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 7 Gold Rare Players, 2 Gold Collectibles 

Tier 6: 

• 50,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 8 Gold Rare Players, 2 Gold Collectibles, 83 OVR Christmas Legend  

Tier 7: 

• 70,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 8 Gold Rare Players, 3 Gold Collectibles, 84 OVR Christmas Legend  

Tier 8: 

• 80,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: 8 Gold Rare Players, 4 Gold Collectibles, 85 OVR Christmas Legend

Tier 9: 

• 90,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: ?  

Tier 10: 

• 100,000,000 lights needed 
• Reward: ?

Advent Calendar - December 1st to 25th:

New to HUT Christmas, is the Daily Advent Calendar Challenges:

• Step 1: Complete the Daily Advent Calendar Challenges as they are released at 2PM PST each day until December 25th.  
• Step 2: Earn the Advent Calendar Collectible by completing the Daily Advent Calendar Challenge. 
• Step 3: Turn that Collectible in to the Advent Calendar Set to earn a surprise reward every day! 

Christmas Sets: 

Check out our all new Christmas Player Sets. They are a little different than other Sets, as this time the Master Set item does not require Master Collectibles to earn. All you need is the various Christmas Collectibles and a Carbon Collectible where applicable to get the Master Item.

Christmas Competitive Seasons 
There will be a four round HUT Christmas Competitive Season that you can compete in for the opportunity to earn rewards like Christmas packs and coins! The Christmas Competitive Season will run from December 7th to January 3rd and each round will be 7 days long.

Christmas Draft Champions
There will be a new HUT Christmas Draft Champions theme available throughout the event. In this theme, you will be able to find Christmas player items in rounds to select for your Draft Champions theme. Additionally, there is a prospect of earning a HUT Christmas-themed reward if you win all four games with the Christmas Draft Champions theme.

Daily Content: 

Starting November 30th at 10 PM, we will be posting a 24 hour community vote on Twitter to let you choose which Christmas item(s) will be released the following day at 2PM.

Each night during the event, we will select players* based on the following real world performance based criteria:

• Players who had the 'nicest assist' in a game that night 
• Players who had the most assists in a game that night 
• Players who had the best team play (Example: blocking a key shot, last minute winning goal, etc.) 

To keep in the spirit of the “Gift of Giving”, you will be able to vote on which one of these player items you want to see released the very next day at 2 PM PST.

*Players must have an existing player item in Hockey Ultimate Team to receive an inform player item.

And as an added bonus, every Friday night we will put a community vote up on Twitter where you can tell us EXACTLY who you want to see released based on their in-game performances. To submit your candidate simply respond to the Twitter vote posted on @EASPORTSNHL with who you would like to see released.
