Contract Insanity
Could you please look into the contract issues? Once we you get 5 to 7 years into Franchise, all of a sudden your Low Elite Potential, 3rd line Forwards, who are getting 3rd Line Minutes are asking f...
I've noticed that contracts inflation has gone down drastically in the past couple weeks, BUT I've stop changing everything to high.
I'm seeing a lot more 2-1 or 3-0 scores instead of the 5-6 or 10-0. So, that might have been a major contributing factor.
Leon Draisaitl hit the open market in my last season and he only wanted 12 million for 7 years. With a 94 overall, I jumped on that
Hmm. I always have simulated scoring on low and shooting on high. Maybe that’s why I don’t have the problem as bad as you guys?
Great catch @kyl_35 , I was wondering why I haven’t come across this myself so that’s interesting as I use the same settings as you.
I’ve also noticed I don’t have the demands stay high once September hits. If a player (other than an rfa) isn’t signed by the start of the season, their ask usually drops to an acceptable level.

@kyl_35I’ve always had the scoring on default settings, so medium. Never touched the shooting stuff too often… how does that make the goalies stats? I was always worried about having the goalies either be too good, or too bad. Never found a medium balance..
I wish EA could make it so that the default settings don’t * everything up… or really have any settings * anything up lol..
Goalie stats are a bit higher than normal and it’s pretty frequent that you get a goalie conn smythe winner, but that’s what I personally want, lol.
I’m betting it would be fine if you leave the shooting the same and just lower the scoring.
I had Makar ask for no less that 18 million in FA, while McDavid and Draisaitl were signed for less than 24 mil total. It does seem to be a bit better, but it certatinly is still broken
