Controller disconnects mid game and when trying to reconnect cant do anything
When I playing hut rivals my controller gets disconnected and can rejoin game to move players. Only this game this does it for

I have this issue on FIFA 22 all the time. I am on PC. I switched out my USB and I actually got like a month of clean games. Then boom, started happening again. I find it hard to believe I am frying USB cables because it works fine on all the other games I play. Rocket League, etc.
I had this issue for FIFA(EA FC) series and it was because R3 button for me. Combinations could be different but whenever I push R3 and pull it to any direction(to move my goalkeeper) controller disconnects and it takes a while to reconnect. So as a workaround I assigned L3 and R3 buttons to P2 and P4 triggers. Since using it that way it never happened again.
