Created players to custom team

Hi

desperately need help with this. I’ve spent ages creating a custom team and 5 players, and now I’m trying to assign them from free agents to my custom team but seem unable to. I’m going in to ‘player movement’ and trying to send them from free agents to my custom team but for some unknown reason my custom team isn’t showing up in the list of teams, in the ‘player movement’ section at least (I can still play as my custom team in other modes)

this is massively annoying as the only reason I created the team was to play with the custom players but now can’t seem to. It’s either me being incredibly dumb or EA making simple things really difficult. No idea why this is so complicated. 

Anyway any any help would be hugely appreciated and would likely prevent me smashing up my PS4...
