I agree that it'd get confusing sometimes in beta, but I think that it had to do more with bad design choices for some jerseys... like having light jerseys available for the home team and viceversa.
Even though I agree that there is more of a design issue, it's not a bug. And, you should really mark Socair's reply as "solution" to be fair :-)
