Winnipeg, Columbus also.  Once you get rolling you'll have enough pucks to climb the ladder of teams from cheapest to most expensive. Try buying packs, getting lucky with a star, then filling out the team for the bonus.  I got lucky and got a Gaborik so Columbus was very easy.  With Winnipeg if you have around 100k pucks you can get Byfuglien and the rest of the team isn't so hard.

Also the prospect team jerseys, they pay for themselves when you sell them back.  Use the app on your phone for an easy search... in the game you can't search for prospect jerseys alone.

Why are guys like Pinazzotto so expensive. I see when you look at their bio, Pinazzotto for example looks like he has 3 attributes that are highlighted in orange. Are these permanent boosted? I am not really sure I see the point of the expense.

I forget what rating he has, but there are guys who are golds with better stats who don't command remotely the puck these guys are seeking in the auction.

Most likely their rarity commands the pucks if they are shiny silver or shiny bronze cards
