@Eccoweaver All of those players are signed to the Marlies, and not the Leafs, so you don’t have the rights to trade them, or to call them up.
You need to go to free agents, and sign them, if you want the ability to trade them or call them up.
It would be nice to have the ability to sign AHL contracts and make AHL trades though.

It 100 percent is a bug. I'm in the 3rd season of my Franchise Mode and there are a half-dozen teams that have under 35 players signed in their ENTIRE organization. If you check out their AHL affiliate, you will see the lines/stats etc., but those same players do not appear in the "find a trade" screen and...even worse...appear as free agents (while the season is ongoing) and can be signed!
It was the last straw for me with NHL 21. A total disgrace.
- @zivimarch If you haven't got 42 players signed to your team it'll assign a player in their spot, they'll shot up in the line up-accumulate stats.. sign up 47 players (5 players for C,LW,RW) and 7 for DEF and 3 for the Goalie.. this will remove all unsigned players nd the autofilled position.
