GM Connected
Thousands of customers who have supported this game for years have been asking for GM Connected to come back since it left. There have been petitions all over the internet begging for this game mode....

Community ManagerThe reason why it hasn't been returned was due to a low population of people playing it. It has nothing to do with not being monetized. If that were the issue, there would be only one mode available to play. There are a dozen other modes besides HUT that aren't monetized. Hopefully, we'll see this mode return, but we don't have any details at this time. The dev team is aware of the requests, but there also have been bigger priorities to focus on.
@EA_Aljo Shouldn’t matter whether 0 or all play the mode.. it’s a sports game.... how there isn’t a mode where multiple users can play out multiple seasons and build up teams is beyond me... I’ve been playing this game for over a decade. The last one I enjoyed was 14. You guys butchered eashl and took away one of the two decent modes in gm connected. You can say it’s not about money all you want but ultimate team has ruined every ea sports product out there.
Exactly my point. This is a sports game and there isn’t a online franchise mode. LOL, you gotta be joking!! To busy trying to steal peoples money through game modes that are terrible. Hey maybe we will have this game mode in 2046.

There is a franchise mode. It's just not online. I don't see how we're stealing money since there is one mode that some people choose to spend money on. We're not taking their money without their notice. That would be stealing.

The reason it matters when very few people use a feature is because it takes a lot of work to rebuild that mode in the current version of the game. I say there are high priorities because we want to make the most of the short time there is each year to build the new game. When there are 1500 people out of the hundreds of thousands that play the game wanting one feature, but the rest of the population wants work in other areas of the game, the dev team tends to focus on the features that benefit the large part of the community so it impacts the most people. Otherwise, spending countless hours on a feature very few play isn't the best way to utilize our resources. That's not to say we don't want GMC to return. I know there's a very big interest in that from the dev team so hopefully, it happens.
1500 people signed the petition. You think there’s only 1500 who want GM connected? Multiple that by Atleast 50 and that’s the floor number. At a minimum, 75000 people want GM connected. Like I said before, instead of fixing connection issues associated with GM Connected, you guys decided it was better to cater towards pay to play people. What do you even work on? The ratings of this game are terrible. This is a professional sports game that has no online franchise mode. That alone signifies a failed vision, a terrible Dev team, and a terrible game. Get a grip.

If GMC was as popular as you're assuming, it would still be in the game. There has been a lot more interest in other modes and mainly gameplay. Which is why there has been such a huge focus on improving gameplay. We regularly see people saying to stop adding new features and improve what is already there. We're not saying there is no interest in GMC. It's just not as popular as it seems. I definitely understand you and your friends love that mode. You all are friends due to having a common interest. Just like my friends are all in EASHL. I know very few that want GMC as the people I tend to spend time with are in the same modes I play. That's just an example of how it can seem there's more interest in something than there is.
- @EA_Aljo Bro I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but the game has gotten so bad lately it’s laughable.. between gameplay and catering to the clowns in the nhl community that are just bad at the game, it has become super boring. Eashl and gm connected were the only decent modes. I honestly have no idea how anyone plays, or invests money in, ultimate team because it’s a complete joke of a mode. Gm connected hasn’t been a part of the game for a while and I’ve hit my final straw with eashl. It’s gotten stale. You say you have a limited time each year? Well it certainly shows.. and you’re still missing the point I’m making. It’s a sports game... How in god’s name is there not a mode where you can take multiple teams into a franchise with however many users? What the majority of the community wants should have absolutely no bearing in whether that should be in the game or not.

It doesn't make sense to spend thousands of hours developing a feature that no one will play. We can use that crucial development time to add and improve features that the community wants. I'm not saying there's no interest in GMC. Just adding some detail to your idea that we should spend a lot of time and resources on something when it'll never be used.
You say EASHL has become stale. What would you do to make it more fun?
