What does the green check mark on player cards in HUT mean? These players can't be auctioned, only quick sale

Normally a green mark says: this player is in your active roster.

While looking through your collection, its a small green check mark that shows up where the contract, injury, and boost icons are located.

I verified it means they are on your active roster and thats why the players can't be auctioned off until they are removed from the roster.
