Heavy lag in NHL 14 EASHL

Ever since Monday, I've been getting really laggy gameplay, this only happens in club though. I have really good connection, I have WIRED. I know other people who experience the same problem. Can EA ...

I live in Ontario, Canada and when I boot up my NHL 14 game and it connects me to the EA servers, it is connecting me to the wrong server. I am supposed to be connecting to the North American East server and instead, the game is connecting me to the North American West server, which causes unplayable lag if you are playing OTP/EASHL with somebody on a North American East host.

This is a widespread issue affecting many players and needs to be fixed immediately. It is noticed by going into EASHL menu, going to "Around the League" and clicking on "Search Clubs". Once in search clubs, you scroll down to club region. It displays the 3 regions (NA East, NA West and Europe) and shows a recommended server for you, which is the server you are connected to. Through the day when the server isn't as busy, I have no problem connecting to the North American East server. I played on it all day. When you connect durng the hours of 630-12, which is the peak hours to play, it connects you to the NA west server.

This is a serious issue which requires immediate attention as many players are unable to play a game which they paid for and are very passionate about. The game advertises that online play is a feature and it is unplayable for reasons beyond the gamers control.

Too add to my previous post before each game I played I reset my modem and ps3 then checked which server I was connecting too

I'm currently in Ontario using bell as an isp but I also know of players using rogers and cogeco that are both having the same issue. Some sort of resolution would be highly appreciated by many.

    I also live in ontario(toronto) and am on bell fibe...i have been posting my results in (Heavey lag in NHL 14 EASHL) thread ...i experience the same issues as well...unplayable lag(constant shutter)....if i tether my cell(rogers) to my ps3 it is fine with few lag spikes here and there.....i agree that ea is having a conflict with our ISP and is placeing us on wrong servers...this game is unplayable for me know as all i play is online OTP or club....many people are having this problem......we are just the tip of the iceburg here on this forum....please have a solotion in progress and update us... and at the very least have a moderater respond to one of these threads cuz it seems as though you are just ignoring the issue EA
