Heavy lag in NHL 14 EASHL

Ever since Monday, I've been getting really laggy gameplay, this only happens in club though. I have really good connection, I have WIRED. I know other people who experience the same problem. Can EA ...

Hi,

I did my test yesterday about the server (East vs West). I switched my club to the West server as recommended by the Club settings. The lag was gone. I was finally able to play with my club. I don't know it this would work with everybody, but it did for my club.

Also about the ISP, one of the previous poster is on to something. While I was still on the east server, everybody on my team with Bell Fibe had the lag, but the only member with Videotron did not have the lag.

I don't know what the update changed, but EA must acknowledge there is something wrong and work to fix this asap.

I know players on Rogers and Cogeco that are also experiencing this issue so I don't think it is an ISP thing to be honest.

I am now experiencing horrible lag in drop in games ...Cant even move my player ffs....ea on line is now a complete right off for me... However like I said earlier if I tether my cell to my ps3... I can play...with lag spike once in a while ,like acouple times a minute. so I definitely think this is an ISP conflict with ea server ..im on bell fibe and my cell is Rogers..Never had any issues before Monday, been playing nhl since 2010.Also if lag is affecting me in dropin now, how will changing location of club server fix this.....My ISP says since all of my other internet is functioning properly they dont have a fix......problem is now with ea... i have a feeling that Ea is forcing me to connect to a furrther away server ....i live in toronto...maybe ea thinks my isp is out west and is making me connect to west servers...just an idea....

Same issue for me as described on my post on page 3...I'm also with Bell Fibe and experiencing this issue.. It's driving me nuts because eashl is all I play.

I work at Bell and had some of my buddies check my modem speed and then conectivitey from my home (Ottawa) to EA host servers. (East) I personally do not work with that end of the business.
Looks like server issues. Im faster than before now. (tks boys!)
To the people who can at EA...please rectify this nonesence. Fun factor dropped to zero. ☹️

They will delete this tread when they got the chance. EA is known to be the company that have the worst costumer service in all America based on forbes magasine. There nothing we can do except hoping. I've got lag issue in 98% of the game i play since NHL13. Xbox is smoother than PS3 for me. On ps3 i can't even play a game. Ridiculous... I dont have any issue playing any online game except EA game. EA are a shame, I don't even know why answer ea exist since they does not answer.
