We'll I tried another eashl gm and some beautiful lag spikes seduced me all gm long. It was fantastic. Best online experience ever.
I am also from Edmonton, Alberta. I use TELUS optik TV. It sticks me on europe servers, and the odd time itll say east, but it still lags the same.
I havent had a lag free game for about a month now, so i've all but stopped playing. I am so frustrated.
50down/10up, ports opened, all that jazz (I am experienced in home networking, everything is right on my end)
Also, I called my isp, they directed me to EA as everything looks fine on their end. I believe them too, since it's only this game; hell, it's only this GAME MODE (eashl) that lags.
I would very much appreciate an update from EA, or better yet a fix. (a fix that works).

I live in Illinois and am also having extreme lag in EASHL drop ins and club. I talked to customer support the other night and they told the me problem was a "technical glitch". What a joke! I just want to be able to play or I want my money back.
Okay so may be a coincidence but I turned blockless on today to watch us netflix and I tried a game that was mostly lag free. A bit of chop but playable. I turned off blockless when the lag started thinking it routing through the US would be causing the lag at heavy use times. Now with it routing through the blockless server I'm down to 4.5 mbps from 11 but virtually no lag so it must be ea's server routing that is pooches, in effect blockless Is allowing me to force the server.
Or maybe I got sh*t associated lucky for a game...
