Hold to Skip now? How do I turn that off?

The latest NHL 22 looks like it introduced a new "feature" nobody asked for anywhere on any forum, Hold to Skip for the commentary.

How do I get back to just pressing X and being done with my opponents next 3 games in Broadcast?

And honestly, WHO put that in... Shame on you. Nobody asked for that and it's wasn't there before the last patch. With all the mess this game has become, somebody in management approved Hold to Skip over fixing all the others issues?

    Thanks for the added details. I'm not aware of a way to disable these replays, unfortunately. I'll make sure your feedback on this gets passed on. I know it can get frustrating when you're having to watch a lot of replays you'd like to skip.

    This was added a couple of years ago for online play so things like milestone celebrations could be skipped if everyone wanted to. You should still be able to skip the other cutscenes so long as the majority of the players also hit A/X to skip. I don't play offline modes, but it's possible this was also added there for those milestone celebrations.

    @EA_AljoNo, it was just added in Be a Pro, not an online play, and it wasn't there. It is now.

    I don't play online. It's not worth my time. I play the offline modes only. Now with HUT, you can't skip anything anymore. Don't play that online either for the same reason, so losing skip offline with the last update has been miserable. I even ripped the whole game out and installed from scratch to try and fix this patch mess to no avail.
