In this game, the cpu can magically takr the puck from you like a magnet
You cannot do this.
Thanks EA.
Great job
They say "this isn't a glitch and is working as intended"
- RelentlessJ694 years agoNew HotshotThe AI can do a lot of things that we can't. When the puck gets iced, the AI magically knows the exact route to take to beat you to the puck, even if you're ahead of them. The AI is 9 times out of 10 faster than your player, I have 92 speed on my guy and it seems like the AI defensemen still outskate me. Also if you breathe on the AI, they call a penalty.
- tunes294 years agoRising Traveler@RelentlessJ69 Yeah it's pretty brutal when you're skating forwards and the CPU is skating backwards and they still manage to catch up or cut you off at the boards

That is frustrating, but when I beat the CPU to the puck on the icing I still get called for icing if the puck is on the other side. This needs to be fixed.

Icing is based on who can touch the puck first. So, if the defending player is closer to the puck, even when it wraps around the boards, icing can be called. If you have any video of questionable icing calls, please post it.
What I previously mentioned will help you steal the puck. Without seeing your attempts at causing turnovers, it's hard to determine why you're struggling here.

That’s not true, stick-to-stick detection transfer the puck to the defender.

When you say thew defender, do you mean the CPU defender?
Either CPU or human. If both shafts collide the puck instantly transfer to the defender. Of course this is not realistic, it should be a loose puck.

I mentioned this previously when I was talking about incidental contact. You can bump into players and knock the puck loose, making it available to be picked up by either player based on positioning and attribute ratings.

I have done that many times, but I think there may be an even easier way to steal the puck?
