HUT issues is not only from Trade Pile. Bidding is broken too. I already lost many pucks and I decided to test it out and show EA the issue.
I decided to bid on a 50 Puck cheap player. I won the bid as you can see on my iPhone from the first link below. Second link shows that in game that I made a bid and I wasn't outbid all it happens is it gets expired and you can't do anything you the card. If I quit I will just lose the card and my pucks.

Better offer something for people having the issues. FIX THIS AND GIVE US FEEDBACK ON WHAT WILL HAPPEN!!!
- I've now won 3 medium priced auctions according to the little gren check but can't assign these players. They then disappear from my expired auctions. Gone forever along with my 8000 or so pucks. My buy now does still work though. HUT auctions/prices are already bs. Way to go EA.

Same for me Buy Now works fine. Don't why ask why EA was nominated the worst company of this year in the gaming industry !! You guys well deserved that title.
